Wellness Wednesday- Afternoon Energy Breathwork Session by Othership

Join Brian Von Ancken, founder of ANCKOR and breathwork facilitator from Othership, to learn about the science behind breathwork and participate in a powerful practice. If you’ve ever struggled to implement a regular meditation practice, breathwork is an amazing alternative.

This practice will teach you to consciously activate your breath for short bursts, specifically to release pent-up energy or challenging emotions and subsequently feel energized for the rest of your day. Furthermore, this style of breathing often leads to feelings of euphoria and deep gratitude.

This session will be done in private, with video off and headphones on while lying down comfortably. The session will offer an introduction to breathwork, 20 minutes of breathing exercises (set to incredible music and a guided science-backed visualization), and a Q&A and sharing session to close the circle.

If you are pregnant, have a history of heart conditions, or epilepsy, then we do not recommend partaking in this style of breathing. You can however join along for the musical journey and breath slowly with no holds. We recommend wearing headphones for the session and having a comfortable quiet place to lie down.
